Well actually, it’s buy one, get 2! Buy a 10mL Frankincense Touch Roll On ($59 CDN), get two Touch Roll Ons FREE: Easy Air/Breathe & ZenGest/Digestzen. I never go without these oils and you don’t have to either. Last week, my husband, Kerry, my two boys, Samson & Roark, aged 4 & 6, and I went camping at Cavendish National Park. We booked an OTentik and had the best time. A cross between a tent and a rustic cabin, it was perfect for my oldest, Roark. Roark is non verbal, has autism and a global development delay. So the OTentik was easy for him to get in and out of, he had an easy place to chill out and there was lots of space for him to sleep. Of course, I brought my oils, and we used all three of today’s BOGO. HERE is a short 4 minute video, sharing how these oils come in handy for my whole fam. Touch Roll Ons are already diluted, so they are great for sensitive skin, babies and kiddos. I love them for Roark, because with his neurological differences he can be extra sensitive to things. Here are my simple tips: Frankincense - I roll under my eyes and on my forehead before bed. I’ll also roll along Roark’s spine for calming and to give him a familiar smell. Easy Air - I roll on my chest, throat and dab under my nose. I found myself a little stuffed up in the tent, so this was my go to in the morning and before bed to help open my airways. Kerry also uses it for his snoring. ZenGest - Roark has been going through a bout of constipation, so along with his other meds, I roll this on his belly throughout the day. Turns out, he likes to poop at home, so things are all good now. Still don’t have your wholesale account? HERE are the steps to get today’s BOGO. Keep calm & oil on. 💧💜 Gen I’m all about simplifying.
Small tweaks over time turn into big changes. To be successful in implementing essential oils into your life, you need a simple, clear approach. Steps to follow so you know exactly what to do, that way you’ll actually do them. Here are three easy & effective essential oil habits that will set you up for success with your oiling:
Already have a few routines in place? What are they? I’d love to know. Happy Oiling, Gen Number Five Comparison: The Thief of Joy This can show up in many ways, scrolling and social media is obvious. I remember when I was a new mom with Roark, my oldest who has complex global development delays. I signed up for a few mom and baby classes. Roark’s development was in a completely different category then the other babies and there was one class in particular where I felt comparison creep in. It was overwhelming, I was pulled out the beauty of the moment of connection with my baby and into the worlds of the other moms and what I thought looked like perfection. Steps to shift out of comparison: -Surround yourself with supportive people, identify the people who fill you up, the groups that you come away from feeling energized. -Quit the groups or the feeds that make you feel less then p.s. You don’t need to do what everyone else is doing. Number Four Choosing misery over discomfort This is when you choose to complain and sit in it, over being uncomfortable, having that crucial conversation, doing that Facebook live, looking for a new job, signing up for a course, going on a retreat, saying yes to the thing that you want, even though it’s work, or you might be judged or no-one else is doing it. The struggle is optional my friends, and you can’t have growth without discomfort. Sometimes the discomfort is staying in the mess, or feeling the feelings that you’ve been pushing away or not allowing yourself to feel. Number Three Simple self-care. I’m not talking about mani pedis, I’m talking about drinking water. I’m talking about getting a good night sleep. I’m talking about saying no to those things and people that are depleting. It might be cleaning out your inbox. This was it for me, I let my inbox go. Like really go. There were thousands and thousands of emails. For the longest time, I was totally ok with it, that’s what the search bar is for right? Something changed, the number of emails started to feel really heavy. I missed things and I wasn’t responding to things in the way I wanted too. I made a decision to clean up my mess, so I deleted. I unsubscribed, I filed. It took me weeks and when I was done IT FELT AMAZING! Number Two Not making a decision. I see this a lot in my oils classes, women who are ready to make a change, they feel the pull, then they stop themselves. They decide they have to think about it, they have to go home and do research, talk to their spouse. Napoleon Hill's book Think & Grow Rich talks about deciding. Deciding what you want and what you don’t want in your life. Be strategic, happen to life, don’t let life happen to you. Choose joy, choose presence. Choose the people who support and lift you up. Number One Not connecting to yourself. The final thing that may be holding you back from healing, freedom and joy is neglecting your connection to self. It’s hard to make decisions when you aren’t connected to yourself. A lack of connection might be trying to belong everywhere when you don’t belong to yourself. Brene Brown’s book, Braving the Wilderness illustrates this so well. “So as I dug deeper into true belonging, it became clear that it’s not something we achieve or accomplish with others; it’s something we carry in our heart. Once we belong thoroughly to ourselves and believe thoroughly in ourselves true belonging is ours. Belonging to ourselves means being called to stand alone—to brave the wilderness of uncertainty, vulnerability, and criticism.” One of the main reasons, I love doTERRA Essential Oils is they allow me to connect and create true belonging. True belonging is when you accept yourself one hundred and ten percent. It is not about having a gazillion followers or friends. It is taking a deep inhale of an oil you love and arriving in the moment. It is about putting something beautiful and uplifting in your diffuser and being with your family. It is about owning your magic and beauty. It is about knowing that you are enough and that everything you need is within you. I use and sharing these oils because I have seen the shift in my inner world, I have seen the impact these oils have on my customers lives and the power they have when women decide and take their health and wellness into their own hands. When they are empowered, they find the solutions that best fit and meet them where they are. This is where healing begins. This creates FREEDOM, and opens you to joy. The doTERRA oil effect is real. In a collection of studies, a Roseman University research team observed “The Oil Effect”: that the doTERRA essential oils tested have therapeutically-relevant cellular effects in many physiological, scientifically-validated research models. They also observed that the effects of doTERRA essential oils were not replicated by administration of individual components within the oil itself, suggesting that the biological effects of doTERRA essential oils are a property of the whole oil. I'm so happy spring has sprung. Along with all the new buds forming from the trees and the ground, I also sometimes suffer from seasonal discomfort in the way of sinus pressure and headaches. Since bringing doTERRA into my families home four years ago, I continue to be amazed and inspired by all the ways doTERRA Essential Oils support our health and wellness. Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint are three oils that work well together to provide relief during this time of year. You can use this combo aromatically, topically and internally. I've found the most effective method is internally with doTERRA's Tri-Ease Softgels or 2 drops of each in a veggie capsule. Check out my quick video on how to use these oils during Allergy Season. My body felt my workouts this week, I think it was a combo of new movements, heavier weight and more grit to not give up. I was sore after Monday's lifting program. I don't get stiff very often, I attribute this to a few things, training, water intake, nutrition and supplements (Lifelong Vitality Pack). When I do feel sore after a workout, I have a few things I do. You may have heard me talk about Deep Blue Rub - this is an athlete's best friend - a topical cream you can put on pre or post workout, or any time really (I also love it for period cramps). When I've gone the extra mile and I know I need more support for recovery, I start with an Epsom Salt bath (I infuse my salts with essential oils) and then I follow up with a layer of Copaiba, Deep Blue Essential Oil and then cover every thing with Deep Blue Rub. It's divine, and I know the next few days of recovery are going to go a whole lot smoother because I've taken these steps. doTERRA's Deep Blue Promo runs till April 15!

I need to exercise or I become a crazy, unbalanced troll. Since last September, I've taken my training to a new level. I'm running, doing some crossfit style workouts, and being really consistent in how much exercise I'm doing. As a result, I'm also seeing some big changes in my body and mind. The cool thing is Essential Oils have been supporting me throughout this entire process. There are three areas all athletes can incorporate essential oils and get some great results. 1. Immunity Support & Cellular Vitality- 'cause being healthy is key! I notice I bounce back from my workouts really quickly, I am very aware of my nutrition and water intake, I also purposely use Frankincense for added support for my cells. 2.Performance - oils can support in opening your airways and helping take powerful breathes. 3.Recovery - soothing sore muscles and inflammation. Check out my You Tube Video on these three areas: The Deep Blue Promo has been extended to April 15th! Get two of my favourite recovery supports, Deep Blue Rub & Deep Blue Soothing Blend with a 200 PV order. New to doTERRA - the Home Essential Kit is the way to go!
Small talk is not my thing. My top strength is Relator. I want to know the real stuff, the good, the bad, the ugly. My comfort zone is sticking close to a couple of people, as an empath networking is something I’ve had to learn. In my line of work, I’ve had to learn ways to get out of my comfort zone to chat with people, to reach out to people, to invite people to learn about essential oils. How do I do this work, when my comfort zone is to be in my safe bubble of my family and close friends? Here are a couple of ways I support myself: -Cardio and strength training in a small group. Small groups are more relaxing and easier for me to connect. I also have a trainor I feel 💯 comfortable with, who I relate with and where small talk isn’t necessary. -Time in silence, meditation & yoga. -Schedule prospecting, teaching times and also schedule times when i am not working -EFT tapping (check out Tap With Brad on You Tube). -Clearing my energy with Palo Santo wood. -Essential Oils -dōterra - purity and potency are important, especially for empaths I’ll use oils before events or before a talk - Copaiba, Lavender & Spearmint After - Tea Tree, Lemongrass. Can you relate? Are you a relator like me? How do you support yourself at networking events and presentations? My You Tube video on my favourite 'Clear the Noise' Essential Oil blendOver the past few months I've been creating content in the form of videos for Instagram and You Tube, I've made a commitment to myself to create one video a week. This has meant I've had to let go of a lot. There is a story in my head, sometimes, that things I create have to be perfect. That I have to have my make-up done, the most perfect light, the most perfect subject. However what I've found is, if I wait for those circumstances, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Scheduling time to do my content, giving myself to sit down without distractions and create is also key in this. When I first started, I felt like it was indulgent to spend time on creation, on making something new. Here is my first video.. |
